Update from the LEO AWARDS
During these unprecedented times of COVID-19, social distancing, and financial challenges, we wanted to give you an update on the LEO AWARDS.
Following the close of entries, we are in the midst of adjudications and hope to announce the 2020 Nominees in May. For the moment, panning continues for the LEO AWARDS celebration events but we are cognizant that these plans are fluid due changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we remain committed to organizing a celebration for the LEO AWARDS 2020 but acknowledge that it may be modified in size and scope from the ceremonies of past years. We remain hopeful that things will return to normal for all of us, but recognize that we may have to plan for further caution.
As the global landscape is rapidly shifting, and our attention is rightfully turned to ensuring health and safety is first, for ourselves and those around us, may we take some comfort in remembering that sharing our stories will continue to be a vital part of who we are and respectfully celebrating our story-telling is important too.
Please take very good care.
